The growth rate of AM patent applications in Austria between 2014 and 2017 was a staggering 1,300%, the highest of any country. This impressive growth positions Austria at the forefront of the global AM industry.
With over ten machine manufacturers, Austria offers a remarkable variety of AM technologies that impress in terms of quality and innovation. International rankings place the country in fourth place globally among AM equipment manufacturers, behind the USA, Germany and China, but in first place in relation to population size.
